The DSA is a voluntary
organisation and companies may join if they choose to in order
to display that they adhere to the DSA code of practice and will
treat both distributors and consumers according to that code.
There is however no obligation for companies to join however
it may be taken as a sign of questionable practice when a company
is not a member and choose not to adhere to the DSA code of practice. |
| Membership of another
DSA in the world is not membership of the DSA in New Zealand
and use of the DSA logo in New Zealand is strictly enforced with
the DSA logo a registered trademark to the DSA New Zealand. |
